Spoilers for Love Island USA ahead!
Love Island USA season 8 has officially booted its first Islander off its glamorous Fiji Villa…and it just so happens to be Officer Sexy Pants, Sean Reifel. ICYMI, Sean initially caught a vibe with Beatriz Hatz before Gabriel Vasconcelos came in as a Bombshell and whisked her away with his steamy make-outs and Brazilian accent. Because all the girls picked other guys, Sean was left single and vulnerable after the first recoupling and was unfortunately sent home.
His sister, Brice Marie, has been vocal about his involvement on the reality show and has cheered him on with a series of social media posts during his week in the villa. Of course, his elimination was no different.
“I did find out earlier today that Sean would be the one being dumped or sent home, because the family was told,” Brice said in a TikTok video she posted on Sunday, June 7. She added that she had been anticipating her brother’s exit from the Villa while watching the episode.
She continued, “I still cried watching it. It’s just hard to see him upset, and it was hard to see everyone cry for him. You know, it just shows like, how much of a genuine, kind person Sean is, that he was able to get along with everyone in the Villa.”
Brice added that she knows Sean will find love outside the Villa, and feels that he was let go from the show early on because he’s at a different stage in his life as a single dad who’s looking to settle down.
“It kind of felt like a lot of the girls were in their early- to mid-20s and not quite at that stage in life yet. So, it just made sense that he didn’t find a super close connection there in that way,” she shared, adding that overall, the show felt like a “good experience” for him.
We’re right there with you, Brice. Sean may be gone, but never forgotten!
